I’m pretty sure this didn’t air on the Toon Disney airing so it’s nice to hear a longer version of this song!

Rika’s Mom… are you okay?!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #RunawayLocomon #Movie6 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

Just like the TV Series Ryo/Justimon coming in clutch!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #RunawayLocomon #Movie6 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

For the record I feel the English version is the better version as it just feels more emotional and the fact the dub was done ON THE FLY I'm in awe of Melissa Fahn's singing ability

So the meat of what makes this movie standout! The song “Promise of the Setting Sun!” performed by both Rika/Ruki’s VAs!

Hi Beelzemon, Bye Beelzemon!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #RunawayLocomon #Movie6 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

“I don’t have a sense of humor Sir!”
…and THERE is the joke!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #RunawayLocomon #Movie6 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

Yeah...if you wanted to have TAMERS to have a follow up to its finale here ya go!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #RunawayLocomon #Movie6 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

Whoops!
This is what happens when you watch Do You Remember Love? on a movie night. Anyway the 2nd Tamers movie is where it's at!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #RunawayLocomon #Movie6 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

"I cannot leave this dimension..."
That's Tai and Matt's Omnimon isn't it?
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #BattleOfAdventures #Movie5 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

Also...I believe this movie IS canon because Kai does appear later sometime during the D-Reaper arc.
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #BattleOfAdventures #Movie5 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

I LIKE this movie it's just that all the other Digimon movies (save Frontier) I like MORE for a variety of reasons so this one always got the least rewatch out of me.
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #BattleOfAdventures #Movie5 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

"He's the mythical guardian of this island!"
I'm now having Pokemon Sun and Moon flashbacks!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #BattleOfAdventures #Movie5 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

NGL, I switched to the Japanese track when the credits sequence started because I wanted to hear "The Biggest Dreamer"!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #BattleOfAdventures #Movie5 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

So the Tamers films start the trend of the Digimon movies being more artisitcally in line with the TV Series. Whereas all the Adventure movies were experimental with their styles.

Basically it's just there's a lot of life things I HAVE to do involving my parents, and obligations to my LGBTQA+ community so it's hard to figure out times to play catch up!
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #BattleOfAdventures #Movie5 #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

Also side bar for me #SocksOnTheShelf is STILL going to be a thing for the rest of this year. Basically I got "stuck" on Eden of the East but I do plan on finishing that series and its corresponding movies.
#Digimon #DigimonTAMERS #DigimonTheMovies @digiranma.bsky.social @khakibluesocks.bsky.social

So looks like I never posted or tweeted this movie on my initial watch earlier this year so new territory as far as posts go!
