Froward, 6:30am onwards. Relatively quiet for grounded migrants so far but a few linnet and meadow pipit on the move overhead. Presumed same wryneck as last week(?) top of Froward Cove, just south of bench. A handful of Manx with a couple of Balearic offshore #devonbirding #UKbirding

Another exciting afternoon on the patch today with 9 Glossy Ibis (first seen at Dawlish) and then my first White-tailed Eagle on the Otter Estuary NR. #UKBirding #DevonBirding #DevonBirds

Froward Point, 6:30am-12.30pm. Good numbers of chiffchaff, blackcap & firecrest west through the scrub for a couple of hours this morning. Unsurprisingly no sign of Jake’s ortolan at the top of Froward Cove either but wryneck on the coast path at the bottom some consolation. #devonbirding #ukbirding

Pectoral Sandpiper showed well at Black Hole Marsh yesterday (9th). Was within a few feet of the Island Hide for long periods of time. #blackholemarsh #devonbirding

Hopefully it seems to be a good autumn for Ortolan Buntings. 🤞🏻 Pleased to find this beauty on the SW coast path this morning near E Devon Golf Course, Budleigh Salterton. #UKBirding #DevonBirding #Birds

A fantastic morning at Black hole Marsh, Seaton. A day of Sandpipers, Pectoral, Wood, Common, Green and Curlew with a strong supporting cast of Spotted Redshank, Osprey etc. #devonbirding
