In #TheMagicMountain #DerZauberberg Drunk Peeperkorn, very appropriately imo calls Hans a "SchwätzerCHEN", but in my translation they just say "blabbermouth" leaving off the diminutive "chen" which both belittles but also softens the insult to sth akin to "LITTLE chatterer/windbag".
