From 1965, The Fannie Farmer Cookbook Norwegian Butter Cookies Cream thoroughly ½ cup butter Add 2 hard-cooked egg yolks, pressed through a sieve Beat in 4 cup sugar Add 1 cup flour ½ teaspoon lemon or vanilla extract Mix well. Shape and bake (see Cooky-Press Cookies, above). Makes about 40.
