An old stamp from Uruguay with a Capybara drawing on it that says "2 crew 2 4 u 2, too" "the premier podcast" "columbus crew 2" "50 pesos" "correo aereo" and "hydrochoerus hydrochaeris" on it.

Really glad that the Crew FO did the right thing (eventually) and fired Higuain. Also very grateful for the media coverage! @jeffreycarlisle.bsky.social @calebpongratz.bsky.social

My other read on this statement is that it:

1. Implicitly admits that what PSRA said is factually accurate.
2. Does not mention the language barrier as an issue.

Further info could come, but if they think he didn't do it/mean it, that 100% should have been in this statement. #CapyCrew #Crew96

We got this statement thanks to Jeff.

"We condemn any action..." so you're saying you condemn what Federico Higuain did, but you're just cool with him continuing on as manager?

Text from the article. The Crew also sent the following statement to ESPN: "The Crew actively collaborated with MLS NEXT Pro throughout the review process and fully accepted the additional discipline issued in accordance with league policies. "Our Club is dedicated to growing the game by creating environments where everyone is welcome and supported on and off the pitch, which is founded upon our values of respect, inclusivity and prioritizing people and culture first. We condemn any action or notion that contradicts our mission of uniting and uplifting all communities and genders through the global game."

Our position regarding the PSRA statement on Head Coach Higuaín’s actions:

Episode 31.5, a mini episode of crisis is out!

No real soccer discussion, it's all about the recent news concerning the Crew 2 manager. With support and solidarity to @psraofficials.bsky.social 🤝
