SITKA DEER MOUSE WINS! #BMW2026Resist #BlackSky

...and off the field of battle. #BMW2026Resist

Shivering the mouse eyes the wood bison. She is 22,000 stoats heavy. She can crush him with ease. #BMW2026Resist

The bedraggled Sitka deer mouse! #BMW2026Resist

BIGG'S ORCA HAS LEFT THE FIELD OF BATTLE! #BMW2026Resist

Wood bison is a little too large for the orca, so they sink back into the water & dive deeper, returning to their never-ending hunt for mammal flesh. #BMW2026Resist #BlackSky

Half an hour has passed & the raccoon's battered body has lost its novelty. The transient orca spy-hops & sees the wood bison, still licking rocks on the coast. #BMW2026Resist

BREAK: you probably know that wolves are important in the cultures of many North American indigenous peoples. Have you ever heard it straight from their mouth, though? www.youtube.com/watch?v=2eBq... #BMW2026Resist #BlackSky #IndigenousPeoplesDay

All this movement in the water pushes the Sitka deer mouse towards the coast. Dazed, they swim towards safety, but it is unsure whether they'll make it or whether they'll drown. #BMW2026Resist

Despite being dead, Ms. Raccoon is still an interesting toy for the orca. She continues to SMACK it around, pulling it under the water over & over with its teeth. #BMW2026Resist #BlackSky

On the coast, the wood bison lifts her head at the sound of the smack. After a soft snort, she returns to licking at the rocks. #BMW2026Resist

The orca uses its tail fin to hit the raccoon out of the water & high into the air...breaking its neck! #BMW2026Resist #BlackSky www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7WG...
