to create an imense universe of intimacy and ecstasy.

I want to feel you becoming and unbecoming one with me until the world fades,
bodies colliding in transcendence,
building to a beautiful crescendo.

I want the fullness of you,
depths overflowing with your purest essence as you pulse within it.

Give me the rawest,
purest,
truest version of you in sweet vulnerable communion and passionately make me yours as much as you are mine.

There's something about feeling something so beautiful and intense and immense with someone that you find bits and pieces of it in little places all around you like a waking dream blending in with an otherwise mundane world. #Blackpoet #Blackpoetry #poem #poetry #love #daydream

The essence of you is everywhere,
laughter and inflection,
smile and the way my favorite color fits you like a custom tailored suit.

A line in a song,
the joke someone told,
all things to draw out the thought of you.

I fear that I would have to turn off the world just to avoid reminders of you.

Thoughts of you are the sugary confections my brain loves to knaw on,
sweet berry kindness and warm buttery laughter in the chest.

I want nothing more than this,
beautiful connection and sacred saccharine memories forged in long awaited calls.

Care and fun conversations,
adoration and trust being built.

I want to inhale the intoxicating vapors of Aphrodite's blessed flames,
building slowly in the hearth of our hearts as you become my favorite daydream and the reality I return to eagerly.

I'm in brighter spirits, so I can finally share this poem I wrote a few days ago. I don't really have much to say about it other than I hope that someone else enjoys it like I do. Well, that and maybe liking someone isn't that bad after all.

Floating gently,
swaying petal lite in gleeful ecstasy,
these feelings are an immenseness that refuses to shake.

Swooning sighs in rushes of dopamine,
a high with no withdrawal,
you are my safest fix.

Not obsessed or fixated,
I just enjoy the sweet bliss of knowing you in moments and memories,
little things to carry me through life's meaner strikes against us.

Mistake this not for eager declarations of love coming in too fast,
jumping into deep ends and drowning.

Know it as the simple statement that I am happy to have your presence in all its forms as infatuation burns down to something sturdier,
a thing that may truly last,
something we may someday call love.

Cloudy blue skies are nothing but a tiny painted ceiling above me,
framed by dirt walls and desperation.

The hole grows deeper with each fruitless scramble to climb,
scraping and clawing at a chance at freedom,
hope the rope dangled too far from fingers desperately reaching.

It is too quiet down here,
nothing but the sounds of frantic breath and spiraling.

I must get out,
must find a place to be besides this prison of earth and grave in the making.

I cannot live like this,
voices no one else can hear,
screaming amongst the flames.

Reach for life,
dig and claw at the hole even as it deepens.

Do what I must but do not die here,
in this nightmare that was once normality in chaotic living.

Escape before the anxiety consumes all that is left of me and leaves me sadly hollowed out at last.
