#RachelCarson published “The Sea Around Us” in 1951, and #SilentSpring 64 years ago yesterday. An expose’ on the environmental & public health harms from DDT, the latter was a key catalyst of the modern environmental movement. Saw an exhibit of her work at Yale’s #BeineckeLibrary
