Y2/1 have been practising their drawing skills today. We looked at some of the interesting buildings in our local area and then tried to draw them using a range of different lines and lots of detail! They did a great job ! π #ArtatWelbeck

Y3 have been creating beautiful artwork of Stonehenge in the moonlight! We mixed different tones of blue and cut out and shaded our stones before arranging and sticking them on. They look fantastic! #ArtatWelbeck

This term in Nursery we have been thinking about ourselves. This week we made self portraits, thinking carefully about our hair, eyes and skin and comparing them to our friends. We learned that we are all unique in our own way and thatβs what makes us special!

In Art, Year 2/1 have been studying the work of Dutch painter, Ton Schulton. We used horizontal and vertical lines to create a mosaic and then added houses and trees. We plan to paint them using block colour... come back next week to see our finished results! #ArtatWelbeck #OurLocalArea
