The Ignytes were created in 2020 as an award series that centers BIPOC perspectives and contributions to speculative fiction. The works nominated on our ballots are the creations of people from these lived experiences, or are works/entities/individuals they hold in high regard. #2026IgnyteAwards

Thank you as well to the 1,111 voters who submitted ballots in any category this year. We didn't have to clear out nearly as many duplicate/spam votes, which was nice for us. #2026IgnyteAwards
