#Isaias #09L is expected to make landfall on the Gulf coast as a #hurricane on Saturday before quickly pushing inland over the southeastern US. The remnants of Isaias could bring a heavy rain and #tornado threat to portions of the #RVA area on Sunday into Monday. #vawx

#Isaias #09L has a bit of a concerning look to it. Convective banding appears to be improving with signs of a developing inner core. However, this seems to be offset by strong shear which is disrupting its vertical alignment, which would pump the brakes on any strengthening.
