Isaias's remnants push through Sunday with heavy rain, gusty winds, and a real tornado threat east of the Blue Ridge. Drier and warmer by Tuesday, then temperatures slide back later in the week. Plan your weekend around Sunday. #Weather #DCwx #MDwx #VAwx

Skyvibe 3-day forecast for D.C. Clouds build today, then rain takes over. Mild and cloudy, the easy day of the three. | Soaking rain arrives, windy too, carry a real umbrella. | Showers linger, lower chance but still wet at times.

A Category 3 hurricane hits the Gulf tonight and its leftovers are aimed at Richmond — 1–2" of rain Sunday (up to 4" near Hampton Roads), plus a low-end tornado threat south of the city Sunday afternoon. Saturday stays dry. Set those rain gauges. #vawx

Today's the calm before it. Mild temps, lighter dew points, nothing to complain about. Rain holds off until Saturday evening, so get outside while the getting's good, because Sunday's a washout. #Weather #DCwx #MDwx #VAwx

@dc.skyvibewx.comOct 9, 2026, 10:05 AM

Quiet through Saturday, then the remnants of Hurricane Isaias move in Sunday with rain and wind. Expect 1-2 inches, locally more, plus gusty conditions before things dry out Monday. Plan outdoor weekend stuff for Saturday, not Sunday. #Weather #DCwx #MDwx #VAwx

Skyvibe 3-day forecast for D.C. Two calm days, then rain moves in Sunday. Clouds around but dry, low 40s to 40s walk. | Similar to today, still comfortable, clouds hang on. | Rain likely, high barely clears 64, pack a jacket.
@htrader.bsky.socialOct 8, 2026, 2:28 PM

3)... for areas closer to the Atlantic.

The exact timing and rainfall still depend on the exact track, so this forecast COULD STILL CHANGE, depending on how Isaias moves closer to making landfall.

I'll try to have an update later on today...

A dry front slides through this morning, barely a ripple, then quiet high pressure holds the rest of the week. The one thing worth watching: remnants of Isaias arrive late Sunday into Monday. #Weather #DCwx #MDwx #VAwx

Skyvibe 3-day forecast for D.C. Clear, dry stretch before clouds thicken midweek. Low humidity, full sun, best air of the week. | Cooler, clouds build but no rain in sight. | Mild again, slight shower chance stays low.
@willweatherrva.bsky.socialOct 7, 2026, 7:50 PM

#Isaias #09L is expected to make landfall on the Gulf coast as a #hurricane on Saturday before quickly pushing inland over the southeastern US. The remnants of Isaias could bring a heavy rain and #tornado threat to portions of the #RVA area on Sunday into Monday. #vawx

@dc.skyvibewx.comOct 7, 2026, 10:04 AM

Quiet stretch through Friday, milder air moving in. Then the weekend gets complicated: Isaias remnants may bring rain Sunday into Monday, timing still shaky. Worth checking back as it firms up. #Weather #DCwx #MDwx #VAwx

Skyvibe 3-day forecast for D.C. Dry stretch, warming into midweek, clouds creep in. Clear, cool, low humidity, jacket for the morning walk. | Warmest day, sun stays out, light wind only. | Clouds build late, still dry, mild overnight low.
@dc.skyvibewx.comOct 6, 2026, 10:04 AM

High pressure parks overhead today, giving us the coolest, calmest stretch of the week before temps climb back toward 80 by Thursday. Dry skies hold through the weekend's first half. Rain odds rise late Saturday into Sunday. #Weather #DCwx #MDwx #VAwx

Skyvibe 3-day forecast for D.C. Cool start, then warmth climbs fast by Thursday. Crisp, dry air, sweater weather at the Metro stop. | Sunny and mild, best patio day of the three. | Clouds build as 85 brings back summer's edge.
