If I were to travel back in time ten years and tell myself I would experience vocal and motor tics, lose the ability to speak, move... I would have thought the possibility insane.
@linseigh.bsky.socialI lost the ability to read & write in the middle of my Cambridge Creative Writing degree. As if that weren't enough, I also struggled w mobility & speech.
I was diagnosed w FND & in lieu of treatment or a cure, I was given a therapist to help me cope.
