Where it kinda falls apart, at least to me, is the subplot dealing with Rika's abandonment issues. This movie...really doesn't do anything with it beyond the fog in her mind and the song. It's a great song and Melissa Fahn adds heartbreak to it excellently... #Digimon #DigimonTamers

It felt bigger than Tamers in terms of animation and some scope, but keep in mind this movie is about a runaway train Vs. Serial Experiments Jeri, so the scope in writing's gonna be skewed a bit. #Digimon #DigimonTamers

So, does this mean it's a good conclusion to the Tamers saga?

Eh...kinda?

It could be because I just got out from #ResidentEvil, but I like that our heroes have more of a happier ending than what we got in the show and I love thinking our heroes did reunite. #Digimon #DigimonTamers

But Tamer's own creator, despite not being involved with Runaway Locomon, actually liked this movie (Mainly as it kept the tone of the original series) and thought it was well written enough that he gave the team his blessing...and I'm more of an optimist, so I think it fits. #Digimon #DigimonTamers

And the Discotek version of this movie ends the proper way, we hear Rika's song again (Melissa Fahn hitting it out of the park) as we see a montage of what everyone's doing after the movie. #Digimon #DigimonTamers
