We open the first ep with a CGI of Tokyo and Sylia explaining the whole thing with Boomers that we know from the last anime. All you need to remember is Genom is the big copo, it's illegal for them to make Boomers within the city...and Boomers keep wrecking the city. #BubblegumCrash

I WAS gonna watch the UK dub but changed my mind when I saw the songs weren't dubbed in that version and the US dub has closed caption subs!

Thus, we have the 3 episode "Conclusion" to the original Knight Sabers and we're seeing all 3 eps due to events next week (More on that later). Also, for the record, it's gonna be the US dub, not the UK, as we saw the US dub of the original BGC. So, let's get the ball rolling with #BubblegumCrash!

Yeah, turns out LEGALLY, Artmic couldn't make ANYTHING and Youmex sued Artmec, stopping the OVA at 3 episodes...and ending the saga of the Knight Sabers until Artmec AND Youmex's own problems caused the rights to fall into AIC themselves, giving us Tokyo 2040. #BubblegumCrash

Again, Artmic noticed how much money Crisis was getting made...and attention it was getting. Thus, they hired AIC to animate Bubblegum Crash, would give us the continued story AND be the complete saga this time, what can stop them!?

Eventually, things got so bad, the two companies split with Crisis ending at Episode 8...

But that was just a forerunner for what was REALLY coming. See, this was just before the Asset Price Bubble, and by consequence the OVA market, was on the cusp of busting, thus Crisis was making money hand over fist...Artmec and Youmex noticed this... #BubblegumCrisis #BubblegumCrash

Well, first there was that whole issue with Priss's Japanese VA I mentioned, but that got resolved quick...for Crisis. Priss gets a new Japanese VA in Crash because her original's record label weren't gonna do that bullshit again. #BubblegumCrash

As mentioned before with Crisis, BGC was supposed to be 13 OVAs done as a joint production between Artmec and Youmex with AIC doing the animation work. Artmec would handle the production, Youmex would handle the music. What could go wrong? #BubblegumCrash
