As for this blu-ray, this was one of those "Best with what we got" jobs and...they did a great job with what they got. Yeah, you can still see some fog and all that stuff, but it looks great and sounds fantastic. #BubblegumCrash

Throw in animation that kept getting odder and even worse, plot holes that wouldn't even be filled in if this continued, and half the cast barley interacting with each other (That ending with Leon was IT outside of the hardsuits), and you have a mess. #BubblegumCrash

I have no clue how they were gonna explain Sylia and Maki's set up here, considering Maki aged, we never seen hints of Sylia being experimented on, and the boomer AI was round two as opposed to from the start. #BubblegumCrash

And we get stuff that...well..I don't really know if the pay off would've been that good with the original idea. Going back to the Tokyo 2040 comparison, 2040 not only fixed the issues regarding BGC as a whole, but the problems with Crash. #BubblegumCrash

Leon barley interacts with the girls, Priss's hatred of Boomers is treated less of a character flaw/motivation like it was in the original and more "Well, golly, gee, that person yelling damn dirty mutants needs a lesson..." #BubblegumCrash

Even if this could go beyond the three episodes, even if Youmex didn't kick and scream all the way to court, even if we did see what the OG plans were, one of two things would've killed this... the bubble burst...or this just not being that good. #BubblegumCrash

THe girls sucker Leon into getting food...Daily joins in...that's the closest we ever get to seeing if Leon and Priss are a couple...and Sylia flies away as Youmex has a hissy fit and calls their lawyers. #BubblegumCrash

Largo and his 3 clones were stopped, his pimped out tank crashed before it could crash the reactor...uh...you guys wanna put up the wall...wanna make sure nothing's leaking?

Ok...and Sylia goes off to Germany a few days later. #BubblegumCrash

The 3 Largos try to take in the girls via absorbing their hardsuits and...again, done better in Tokyo 2040...this causes the girls to be connected and allows them to fight back. #BubblegumCrash
