Here’s a moodboard for THE OTHER FAIRY GODMOTHER! My novel stars the FG’s sister: a free-spirited 12yo who doesn’t want to be queen, plus fractured fairytales, a magical book dictating happy endings, sisters/BFFs torn apart by fate, HEAs gone wrong… and a fire-breathing squirrel #DVparty #MG #F #ND

Eviction cases are skyrocketing due to sneaky lease clauses, but early intervention and mediation could be the key to keeping families in their homes.

I need a lot of energy to spare to venture out to explore the feeds of others on this platform

This is rarely the case for me

Otherwise I'm typically stuck in my own little corner of the #Void here, hoping others will chance upon me

#mindfulness done a little differently 😊

As a neurodivergent writer who has learning disabilities. How do I go about addressing agents that I have this? How can we work together as a write who is Dyslexic to make it a smooth journey? #AskDV #F #MG #YA #ND

It seems like 60K is the word count cut-off for a lot of agents repping upper MG fantasy nowadays. If my book is slightly longer than that (in the upper 60s) but I still made it as short as I could, do I still stand a chance querying, or will I be rejected by default? #AskDV #MG #F #ND

Should I put a disclaimer in my query letter that I am a dyslexic/ Nurodivergant writer?

Considering that MG is skewing shorter lately, how do you balance minimizing the word count with adding enough detail, introspection, etc. to bring the characters and story to life? #AskDV #MG #F #ND

I'm writing a #MG fantasy where the main character is neurodivergent (as am l) which means she sometimes acts younger than she is. This is intentional for disability rep, but what should I do while querying so agents understand the intention & don’t just assume she's acting too young? #AskDV #F #ND

What's the maximum word count you'd recommend for querying an upper MG fantasy? (Thanks in advance for any advice you can give: this is such a great opportunity!) #AskDV #MG #F #ND
