I wonder where my gang of Baltimore Orioles are now. My backyard has sure been quiet since the last one left on September 5th. #birds #birding #Bobsbackyard #HamOnt #Ancaster

I took this photo of an adult female Baltimore Oriole in the spring. She's on a bare branch, looking over her shoulder to the left, with a green backdrop of a blurred out spruce tree behindA closeup shot of a juvenile Baltimore Oriole, perched on a hoop of my feeder system, in profile view looking to the right and downwards. The backdrop is blurred out green.A photo of my feeding system, with four juvenile Baltimore Orioles and two adult malesA closeup of my oriole feeder with three juveniles on it. They are all looking to the right, I wonder what caught their attention.

I dug out another of the Missile releases I like so much. This one is another timeless piece of Techno. 30 years old? 3 days old?

Mainly clear and 17.1°C is perfect for Hamilton, but a 28.1 km/h wind means trash is racing down the street. The HSC Crew knows gusts make a mess of the curbs. #HamOnt #StreetCleaning

HSR service cancellations have resumed again this morning.

Yesterday, I asked Mayor Andrea Horwath when HSR will be able to meet its basic service standard. The Mayor stated HSR is still working on operating from two bus garages, and could not provide a timeline for basic service. #yhmcc #HamOnt

After almost 10 yrs, finally sat down with @torontomike.com to have a human to human chat at Great Lakes Brewery.

Real talk, it was awesome. Discussed a wide range of issues and even touched on the virtue of Canadian energy :-)

Thanks for making it happen.

The two rail trails accessible to central #hamont at the southern ends of Dundurn and Wentworth streets are magnificent. 10km of forested trail on an E-W axis along the escarpment is something other cities can only dream about having. Finding a single tree in central Toronto can be challenging.

Hamilton-Brantford radial trail on former TH&B railway right-of-way. For more than 100 years the railways had exclusive access to huge tracts of World Biosphere Reserve Niagara Escarpment. It starts at the very southern end of Dundurn St and carries on to the west Mountain area with an exit onto Scenic Drive. The trail carries on into Ancaster, then cuts across farmland until reaching Brantford.
