Harvested the apples last night, and the consensus with the kids is that there will be a lot less complaining when I ask for holes to be dug for fruit trees!

Or as the youngest put it "You grew this!!??"

One bite out of the unknown variety apple as I devoured it last night Both the kids really like them too I'll have to look back at the tasting notes we were going to use to try and ID it, but it is crisp, juicy & really delicious They do all have a little scab, I honestly didn't find it icky when eating them, it hardly affects the texture - I am looking for organic tips to reduce it though! Most of my other varieties are resistant and the Liberty apples right beside it didn't have any on them

There's a frost coming tonight so I pulled the rest of my peppers, oregano and rosemary. The rest of the plants are cold tolerant and should be fine out there for a while longer.

Still got lots left to harvest and I wasn’t able to fit everything shown here into the boxes - the Poblanos at the top in particular were way too large.

A large collection of plastic tubs and glass bowls arranged in a rough grid on an outdoor picnic bench. Most tubs have a single variety of Chilli but a couple double up when the distinction between varieties is very obvious. There are a few Sweet Peppers and Ancho Poblano too, which I was hoping to squeeze into the boxes, but there was simply no room.
