Tried another tatting workshop today, and choosing a thread where I could undo mistakes with my fingers instead of a needle made a huge difference. I am no longer inclined to give up on this craft and I think I'm about at the point where I can experiment with data. #DHmakes

Yesterday was the Sonoran Valley Print Festival in Tucson, which was delightful, but also there were textiles on the walls and ceiling, and upcycled pep talk doilies in the window that I loved. #DHmakes

Also, if you're passing through Tucson, Grandma's Spinning Wheel is the weird, wonderful fiber craft shop you need to stop at. Amazing collection of spinning fiber, yarn (some locally dyed, including in the store itself), classes, and corny jokes pasted up throughout. #DHmakes
