Short on time tonight, so here's Johann Sebastian Bok for #boktober

#boktober 02

I just learned about #boktober and it really should be #bawcktober to differentiate it from Boktai fan art.

Anyway, here's my paltry contribution of a crevecour, a French chicken that looks sufficiently Halloween with his little demon-horn comb. I may bead a chicken at some point.

#boktober 02. Similar to the first but in gouache

I have just learned of #Boktober, the marvellous brainchild of @kamakru.bsky.social, and goodness, it might as well be tailor-made for me. I have in actual fact already been thinking of returning to the hens again, so this feels doubly fortuitous. 🤩🐔

Thanks to @kim-hu.com for getting me on this train. No-reference throwback to the time I saw one of my chickens sunbathing like this and, being new to chickens, thought she had died. Done on a work post-it on my lunch break. #boktober

#boktober 01

#boktober number 01, featuring one of @rentradewind.noodlebowl.org's hens. Thanks for the ref! :)

I hope my next phone can take better macro photos lol.

Wanted to do a more ""official"" first piece for #boktober! This time a Sumatra rooster, which are originally bred for fighting and are surprisingly good at flying.

I dropped everything for #boktober

Gotta share the first #boktober artwork of the month. Thanks for indulging my silly idea Kim! I suppose this means I should make at least something for it lol.
The challenge is open for anyone wanting to do it, just draw chickens. Not a strict challenge, just have fun :)
