@crawlieswithcri.bsky.socialNOT sexy corsets - functional so they could hold the swords. We were provided with "These are the swords you'll wear" and had to go from there. Thank the gods Cheryl was a brilliant costume designer! (I have pics somewhere of the two of us).
@crawlieswithcri.bsky.socialYES on drawing sword! Learned a LOT when I was cast as one of two female guards in Twelfth Night - friend/costume designer was the other and we had to do a LOT of work and adjustments so we could actually draw our swords. We had them back mounted attached to corsets. 1/2
@emoontxwriter.bsky.socialReposted by @crawlieswithcri.bsky.socialYesterday I saw, somewhere online (here? You Tube? No idea...stuff disappears) an artist's conception of a female knight. Fancy armor, spiky-looking, not adequate coverage of vital organs, exaggerated shape, high-heeled boots, long loose hair, and a huge sword of impossible shape & dimensions.

If any cat ever needed one of those fainting couch cat beds, it's Binx.
@crawlieswithcri.bsky.socialWatching Cat TV together...at least until Luine noticed Binx was right behind her🤣
Binx entire life is sneaking up behind Luine.

@leciamichelle.bsky.socialReposted by @crawlieswithcri.bsky.socialI love when birds perch on little things. An eastern bluebird. There were probably a dozen of them flitting around.
