Long overdue #PitchDis update!
-We had a handful of requests go out this morning.
-I haven't gotten to most emails yet.
And the reason why I didn't update sooner? I took a nice little road trip and made some new friends.

The excitement of #PitchDis and #DVPit brought me back to social media. So cool to see so many writers celebrating their work!

I’ve gotten two requests to query from agents so far from the #PitchDis event!! 🥹🥹 #booksky #writesky

#PitchDis this post is for you!!

My plan had been to read your queries this weekend and this coming week but alas... Murphy's Law has struck again and an old pipe has done what old pipes do 🚿🚱

Therefore, I will not be reading queries as quickly as I had hoped.👇🏽

Second handful of #PitchDis requests unlocked. Please hold while I pretend to be normal about this.

If you're an agent or editor who hasn't checked out the #PitchDis pitches yet now would be a good time. It's pretty quiet today so we shouldn't have any technical issues 😁
Also, a reminder that the request period has been extended until Monday at 8pm EDT.

I've been testing the waters to see if my manuscript is ready to query with some pitch events and what a crazy couple of days! 5 #PitchDis requests and full request from an amazing independent publisher. I think it might be ready!

#PitchDis Friday afternoon update.
-The bad news is I'm sick with a stomach bug and am basically useless at the moment😭
-The good news is the requests are going through as they should and I'm not having to troubleshoot today.

Good morning, everyone!
We had a few more #PitchDis requests go out overnight 🎉
Remember that the request window has been extended until Monday evening.

@giannamarie.bsky.social Hello! I received a #pitchdis request from you. Thank you so much! However, my book is about things explicitly listed on your no list. (Christian mythology.) Making sure you would still like the query. I know you said not to self reject, but I I’d hate to waste your time.

up to 4 #PitchDis requests now!!!

i really never thought this would happen and I'm still in shock 😭 i can't wait to see what the weekend brings

Another #PitchDis request yay!

Hi Rebecca! You requested my pitch on #PitchDis, but I currently have a query out with you right now. Should I make a note on my original query? Thank you!

THIRD #PitchDis request just came in. HOLY MOLY. 😳

#PitchDis evening update

-The last of the backlogged requests have been sent 🙌
-We had lots of new requests today, but the majority of agents and editors haven't made requests yet
-I haven't had the time or energy to post stats, but I'll do that over the weekend or next week.

I just got a THIRD request from #PitchDis, second for This Is Where Died. I’m gonna go submit and then buy lottery tickets.

While I do that, please enjoy this photo of my baby boy taking full advantage of his time at the dog park yesterday.

Just got my second #PitchDis request!?! Whilst I rest up and prep their materials, please be kind, for I shall remain extra extra uncool in my excited-nervousness. Ahhhh! 🤗

Just got my 2nd #PitchDis request, this time a partial for This Is Where You Died!! 2 requests in one day sure beat the hell out of my recent 2 rejections in one day!

I've started releasing a few of the backlogged #PitchDis requests. I have to go slow with them, so the last of those probably won't go out until tomorrow.

Here's the #PitchDis afternoon update.
-We've had new 66 requests sent out since this morning.
-I'm working on the backlog we still have. Those will go out in small batches so we don't make gmail mad again.
-Some requests are going to spam folders, so make sure to check there.
