Saturday train sketches on the way back from the Sketch Up event... Tried to draw some crowds and finished up the last pages of my sketchbook.

I went to a sketch up event on Saturday! Used the cotton rag paper sketchbook from blue pine arts... Which I love bc it's really light... But this paper isn't great when there's lots of drawing, the fibers of the paper clogs my nib.

Preparing a visit to the #zoo with some preliminary sketches. I have very little experience with drawing live animals, but I know they won't be as still as my photo reference 😄

Another bonus plein air outing, this time at Uniacke Estate Park in Mount Uniacke NS. It rained on and off so I kept most of my paint in my bag. Others were much braver! 👏

My three sketches from the #halifaxusk outing at Sullivan's Pond this morning. One of the sketchers said the vertical lines in the value study give the impression of rain, which I didn't think of, but I like it! 👍🙂 ☔

A different color of ink this time...because it's a brand new fountain pen! Forgot to post this from Friday night!

Tried the other new double stacked nib I got... (Last Pic) It's kinda too thick for my daily sketching I guess? I still prefer my original fude nib.

I tried to adjust my experiment times so that I could leave work earlier... But that also means squeezing in on the train 😭
