okay after 17 hours of straight CPU burn on this raspberry pi I might be ready to admit that "just eagerly compile all the elisp when updating packages, how long could it take" may not be a useful response to the annoying #Emacs UI lag of native-comp-async

- Set it to WAIT and add the person as a tag (:target)?
- Set it to WAIT and use a PROPERTY?
- Some other method?

Is #Emacs 31.1 breaking Term for anyone else? It is totally nonfunctional and spewing this message over and over again:

`error in process filter: eterm-256color-handle-ansi-escape: Wrong type argument: fixnump, nil`

I've always used `nohup somecmd >/dev/null &` to start apps from a terminal so that they'll keep running even if I close the terminal window. But Emacs doesn't play well with this and closes anyway.

Just learned `emacs & disown` does the same thing, and it's nicer to type, too!
