Are the eyebrows too much? I'm worried they're a bit much. 🪶 #CaptionThatBird #BirdOfTheDay

A Mountain Chickadee perched on a small dead branch. It is facing the camera showing off its dramatic black and white coloration. The top of its head to just below its eyes is jet black with dramatic white eyebrows swept back from its beak above its eyes and back across the top if its head. Its cheeks are bright white. Its bib is black. Its breast and belly are very light grey. Its wings are very dark grey. Its eyes, beak, and feet are black. The background is soft sage green with dead branches crossing through it.

Rainbow Bee-eater's (Merops ornatus) court using bees. Here the male, the one with the longer tail-streamers has presented the female who is facing the camera with a bee in the hope of winning her heart and getting laid. Both birds are on the same bare branch at Sir John Chandler Park, Indooroopilly, Qld, Australia

A photo of a juvenile Cooper's hawk (Astur cooperii) perched on the flat top of a cut off tree stump, its wings held partially out, tail up, and feathers floofed out while it gazes upward with its beak slightly open. It's a medium-sized hawk with a dark brown upper body, streaky brown and tan breast & belly, striped tail, smalled hooked beak, and pale irises. The background is a blurred shady forest setting.

Despite being horrifically scarred, Reginald's version of "I will ALLWWAYYSS LOVE YOUUU!" was a hit with all the ladies. Not really, they ran a mile, which was the distance he also missed the key by.

A Noisy Friarbird (Philemon corniculatus) flaunts a face only a mother could love with it bare-skin black head, evil red eye. under beak feather fluff, an eyebrow that extends all the way down to the strange horn/hump on its beak, it's scruff neck ruff, its grey wings and tail, and its white belly and vent as it sings in a tree at Wurtulla, Australia.

“Dammit Gary, get your wing out of my face! I'm flying blind back here!"

A photo of four Greylag geese flying in a neat, diagonal line across a clear, pale blue sky. The birds are captured mid-flight in various stages of their wingbeats. The bright daylight highlights the textures of their mottled grey-brown feathers, white tails, and stout orange bills. A comical optical illusion occurs between the front two birds due to the camera's perspective. The leading goose's downward-extended wing perfectly overlaps the head of the second goose flying closely behind it. This creates a funny visual effect, making it look as though the front bird is covering the second bird's face with its wing so it cannot see where it is going. The remaining two geese follow further down the line, one with its wings angled upward and the other downward.
