The bird has a strong, hooked black beak with a yellow base. Its plumage features a dark brown back and wings, with highly detailed black-and-white barred patterns covering its chest and underparts. Its intense eye faces to the left. The eagle is sitting on a circular, padded falconry block perch. Leather tethers (jesses) are visible around its thick, powerful yellow legs, which end in sharp, dark curved talons gripping the edge. The setting is a brightly lit, green grassy field with soft, out-of-focus blades of grass indicating a sunny day.

The swan has bright white feathers, an orange beak with black markings at the base, and its neck is curved slightly downward toward the water. The surface of the water is relatively smooth but features distinct, concentric circular ripples expanding outward from the swan's position. A clear, slightly distorted orange and white reflection of the swan's beak and neck is visible directly beneath it in the water.
