DEVIL #INTUITION

She was always there,
Wherever there was,
Loitering in dank corners
Or lingering in the field,
Pointing up at the house.
I remember taking a train to London
And spotting her through the window,
Lurking beneath a bridge,
Pale against the neon graffiti.

#vss365 The witchfinder claimed #intuition told him which women served the Devil, without evidence. The midwife burned first. Then the widow. Then the miller’s daughter. At his fourth trial, the accused woman smiled. “Of course you can recognise us,” she said. “You created us.” #Edvane #DarkFantasy

More Than a Feeling

I have a strong suspicion
That you go by intuition
In order to make each hard decision

Then by your own admission
What then comes to fruition
Is deciding without asking permission

"When did you know?"

Dewdrops slow to fall remind him of good times.

Now, he lived life gripped by #intuition.

His vision cleared by one mistake too many.

"Sometimes, it made sense a long time ago."

"How do you choose who to invest in?"
" #Intuition."
"You just... instinctively know who will make money for you? Like some kind of... sixth sense?"
"I can intuit who, where & when can be influenced with which bribes & what threats. I make full use of this ability to excellent effect."

Intuition has been replaced with emotion, logic with empathy. The pendulum of human rationale has swung so far in one direction that it's restoring force will destroy nations.

In a few regards, I've set my intuition to the opposite of yours; and it is my hope it makes all the difference.

The door creaks
a sliver of darkness into the hall.
And the child within pricks up its neglected ears,
sees something, a waver, a flash of a long white dress.
A finger pointing to the tree in the field.
Logic laughs like a steel pan,
#intuition gets to its feet.

#intuition was a fickle thing to trust in. Dylan had had as many instances where it proved wrong as right, but he still considered it worth listening to, even if it led him astray.

It screamed at him now. This big ship that exploded was significant, he just couldn’t put a finger on why.

Rory didn’t really have much #intuition that worked to his advantage. He could extrapolate from likely circumstances, but he didn’t really have ‘gut’ feelings. They were a little chaotic to him.

So, when he got jumped by wandering monsters, he was usually overly-surprised each time.

#intuition set the bees a-swarm
abandoning their cozy home
we waited for the storm for years
but it never came, and the fear
subsided.
