That really seems like the type specimen of the Hammer Horror film as understood by broader culture: Silly, sexy, cheap, and made compelling by the presence of a handful of iconic actors and a real sense that anything could happen. #horrorwatch

Sorry :(

I guess not everyone has the DVD like me lol

#HorrorWatch

Yeah that's how I felt too. But it was fun to watch, none the less

#HorrorWatch

This movie's gratuitous scenes of cleavage knows me too well. 😵‍💫

I mean, they’re all interesting to watch (especially in good company like the #HorrorWatch gang!) but that was not one of the more distinguished entries

a couple of really good, nuanced moments from Lee and Troughton but too much soap-opera acting from the young leads imo

I mean, obviously I've seen worse Dracula movies—I've seen Dario Argento's version, after all, where the Count turns into a giant praying mantis, for pete's sake—but still, I very much did not love Scars of Dracula. #HorrorWatch

Did the priest not think to bring a sword or something to defend against the giant bats that have infested the area?

As I've said before, I really enjoyed spending the past 100 minutes with y'all. A very fun time.
But re: the movie? #horrorwatch

Right? Had to really be sure the cross was gone. Look reeeally close. #horrorwatch

I feel a little scarred myself, to be honest. That movie was not Hammer's finest moment. #HorrorWatch

Christopher Lee made it worth watching. #horrorwatch

Well. That was A Movie. I did not remember it being that bad, omg. I hope Lee & Troughton were well paid for the small amount of work they did in it. #HorrorWatch
