A quick "string of hearts" plant (Ceropegia woodii) for #SciArtSeptember
#SciArtSeptember Day 11 is Heart and hey I do draw plants on the rare occasion! This is a bleeding heart plant and they grow in strings of these little guys along a stem. My mom has always had one of these in the garden and growing up I liked to pull them apart to look inside.

The second category for #SciArtSeptember is shape & the Day 11 prompt is heart. 🧪 My linocut for your nature loving Valentine shows three heart cockles (Corculum cardissa) with the words, “You warm the cockles of my heart”. Perfect for your favourite malachologist, beach comber or shell collector.
For Day 11 of 2026 #SciArtSeptember #Heart here are some chicken heart skewers, popular here in Taiwan night markets. 🐡🦑🧪
