Donating this little painting done Plein air at Marian Coffin Gardens to Marian Coffin Gardens at Gilbraltar for an upcoming fundraiser event. Will be painting there tomorrow for a couple of hours as the gardens are so wonderful in bloom and I haven’t been in a while. #artistatwork #garden #pleinair

Out this morning making #watercolor #sketches with the local #pleinair group at Cedar Point, NC. A beautiful morning, a little toasty in the sun, but a nice breeze coming off the water.

Another bonus plein air outing, this time at Uniacke Estate Park in Mount Uniacke NS. It rained on and off so I kept most of my paint in my bag. Others were much braver! 👏

My yearly week long camping, hiking, and plein air painting trip to Algonquin was great. Saw more loons than people, ate simply, drank from the lakes, painted a lot, returned feeling much refreshed. The peace and silence out there is immense.
