Left, left, left. Again and again. For the red head was told that if you wanted to leave such a daze, you should always follow the same direction. But every time, she would come back to the sordid spectacle she had left at first. The people laughing under the light. There was no escape to this, no matter how far she ran, no matter what direction she took… And she kept getting hurt more and more without ever finding an end to this.

Has she ever been in this much pain?

Her memory feels hazy. Crippled by the agony that radiates through her body. Mere ilms away Zenos lays just as broken. Dying in a way she must be as well. Ifrit didn't hurt her badly. Nor did Titan. The light? Was that the last time? Morrigan can't even remember what that felt like. Just that it brought her to her knees. So have her visions. This though? Physically she's never been like this that she can remember. She stares up into the endless space, it feels hard to breathe.

Oh she's so tired. Mayhap if she sleeps the pain will subside, but this is worse than anything before. Can sleep really fix her? Her breath shudders a strange wheezing sound as it's expelled.

The tables of the Bismarck were obviously too far for her to see the battle about to unfold, but it was a glorious view of the moon all the same. Shining brightly in the clear sky, surrounded by stars, it was the perfect backdrop for Altima's dinner that evening. The food had been expertly prepared by the respected establishment and paired with a rather marvellous local wine. She had decided to treat herself, anticipating that her foe would sail to new heights. She was certain that Fandaniel was not long for this world, and with no one else to intervene, perhaps Zodiark was also destined for the aetherial sea.
