Behold a rumble of creation
Lock doors in hearts
Youre told you are the children of the nation
But no truth in any part
Just lies to gas your engine
Wont even get past the start
Bones lined up miles marked in
Death the only checker flag
Peddle to the mettle, success the illusion

morning, &
whatever comes after -

the lunacy
of survival

in a universe
tearing itself apart.

The deep ocean
roaring inside my
heart crashing tides

The infinite outer
space expanding
Inside my mind

Thoughts quickly
traveling light
years shattering
the barrier of time

My imagination
knows no bounds

why do i write poetry in longhand?

thank my first-grade teacher.

in the name of extending a collective "fuck you" to hustle culture, just pick up a pen and write it down.
