Film eight of #Hooptober and it's this year's Tobe Hooper film!
It's the man's debut feature, a hippie life snapshot and alien (?) in the basement joint. It's strange, interesting and meanders a tad but a must see for serious Hooperologists.

#Hooptober 8/31+: Night of the Living Doo (2001)
At about 16 minutes it's too short for the 100 challenge but this bonus viewing was a treat and then some. Fun lil spoof of the Scooby-Doo formula that gave me some good laughs throughout. boxd.it/9s2c
#5 Eaten Alive (no pic for this turd)
Most of the characters were brutal & gross in a way that made me actively rooted for them to be killed by the crocodile. Half a star for the swamp electronica score only! #hooptober #hooptoberxiii #hooptober13

#hooptober film seven!
A great Sam Neill shows us why capitalism is a much more terrifying monster than millions of hungry vampires.

🎃 #hooptober Film 4:
🖍️ THE CHILDREN UNDER THE HOUSE

The sixth watch of #hooptober
Resident Evil is an absolute fun time in the cinema. A really good rollercoaster of survival horror fun with some top creatures design, tense set pieces and an enjoyably awful protagonist.
#100HorrorMoviesIn92Days 60/100 & #Hooptober 7/31+: Zombies on Broadway
Setting aside some stuff that doesn't age well, this was pretty fun for "not quite Abbott and Costello." Plus it has Bela Lugosi and Sheldon Leonard! boxd.it/1lNu

7th film of #Hooptober done.
It is very evident why this film was the talk of the town when it came out and it's been the first vampire flick in absolutely forever that actually engaged me. lol
Incredible cast and writing. Loved the theming around the connecting power of music.
2. Bloodsucking Pharaohs of Pittsburgh (1991)

Everyone talks about the great opening scene; no one talks about the rest. There's a reason for that. My ★★½ review of Ghost Ship (2002) on @letterboxd.social: boxd.it/griXtD #Horrorsky #DarkCastle #Hooptober
