#15 The Cured
This is a thoughtful and somber Irish movie about what happens when zombies are cured and integrated back into society. The performances and well built tension make this an interesting watch. #hooptober #hooptoberxiii

#14 Death Screams
I've never been more certain that a porn was being filmed concurrently w the same cast & sets. But still it's boring. Half a star to the actress who was channeling Mama from Mama's Family #hooptober #hooptoberxiii

#12 The Black Cat
Gorgeous design and incredible watching Karloff & Lugosi vie for HBIC in every scene! Plus Vetus always sounded like Fetus to me! #hooptober #hooptoberxiii

#11 The Devil Bat
Brief but memorable mostly due to Bela Lugosi's extreme joy at wearing fancy goggles and fiddling around with a huge stuffed bat! Running time padded by minutes long sections of Lugosi happily watching his bat get zapped by radiation. Campy fun! #hooptober #hooptoberxiii

#10 House
Honestly thought this would be scarier. Its mostly ridiculous with fun make-up & big puppets! #hooptober #hooptober13 #hooptoberxiii

#9 Cold Storage
Despite a few confusing bits of timeline/infection tracing, this is a solid dark horror comedy. Neeson is particularly funny. Not quite as sharp as Slither but definitely in the same vein! #hooptober #hooptoberxiii #hooptober13

#7 Censor
Liked the dreamyness of this movie but the payoff felt thin. #hooptober13 #hooptoberxiii #hooptober

#6 Slaxx
These murder jeans are on a mission to kill! Loved seeing all the pants' murder techniques. Less in love w the heavyhandedness of the moral message. But still a lot of fun! #hooptober #hooptoberxiii #hooptober13

#5 Eaten Alive (no pic for this turd)
Most of the characters were brutal & gross in a way that made me actively rooted for them to be killed by the crocodile. Half a star for the swamp electronica score only! #hooptober #hooptoberxiii #hooptober13

#4 Train to Busan
Zombie movie excellence - the zombies are genuinely scary, the social commentary is sharp, and the emotional beats are earned! Even better than I remembered. #hooptober #hooptober13 #hooptoberxiii

#3 Freaky
A whole lot of fun!
Best moment - Booker coming out as straight and his mom is like nope! #hooptober #hooptober13 #hooptoberxiii

#2 - Bit
Lot of promise- queer LA vampires exacting justice on shitty guys in an attempt to eradicate mens rights behaviors. Midway, we get treated to Duke's freaked out, psychedelic flashback and the story starts falling apart. Its fun overall but could have been revolutionary #hooptoberxiii
