@innerlmnt.bsky.socialthere are no errors in the dub translation, the subtitles say the same thing; Lara professes her undying love for Mari. what am I missing here?!
#GoodbyeLara is a masterfully composed show with incredible storytelling, so this cannot be an error. WHAT PROFOUND THING ARE YOU GOING FOR WITH THIS BEAT
@innerlmnt.bsky.social"I'm supposed to find real love, but I don't want it. All I want... All I want is to be alive in a world where you [Mari] are here."
AND THEN SHE FUCKING LEAVES HER?!!
WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY WITH THIS ENDING
@innerlmnt.bsky.socialit hit all the right notes, it felt visceral, it pushed lara to her logical conclusion,,,,,,
AND THEN IT FACEPLANTED BY MAKING HER LEAVE???? #GoodbyeLara
@directorchimera.bsky.socialThe more I sit with the ending of #GoodbyeLara, the more I love it! Wonderful weaving of elements of the original fairy tale with the modern world and the fact that it's ultimately centered on Lara and her journey to find not just true love, but also self actualization in going to live her life.
@innerlmnt.bsky.socialWHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT ENDING? HELLO? #GoodbyeLara
@skysharkk.bsky.socialI'm not even mad with the #goodbyelara ending, I'm just sad. With wlw media and specially anime I feel it's always the same.
I really wanted for Mari and Lara to kiss, to hold hands, to show affection +

Mixed feelings ab the ending, i was not expecting Lara to leave like that but the first 20min were amazing They def could’ve have executed it better if it’s what they have been aiming for, I’ll have to rethink ab this ending,,

-Great episode.
-I don't respect Rowan.
-Mari reaching out to Lara and then Lara saving Mari were beautiful sequences of scenes.
-I don't mind that the ending is open ended. Lara continues her journey of self-discovery.
-Lara & Mari will meet again.
@ledart404.bsky.socialGoodbye Lara aura été la bonne surprise de cette saison. Son style rétro et sa réinterprétation de La Petite Sirène m'ont totalement séduit. 🐟️🥊
@innerlmnt.bsky.socialthey hid her eyes for the remaining four minutes of the episode in these weird angles. can she not look Mari in the eyes? if the thing she was searching for was "a place", why the obscurity?
