For today's #BirdOfTheDay theme of #Seabirds - any bird found at sea or the coast - here is a Semipalmated Plover that was roaming the beach the other morning (there actually were two, but it was hard to get both of them in focus)

Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is #Seabirds with an alt of #Airborne, so like many people today I'm posting a gull in flight.

Specifically, one of the Ring-billed gulls that have now returned for the season from their breeding grounds up north.

I don't normally think of cormorants as #seabirds, but this cormorant colony was hanging out at a beach on Port Phillip Bay so 🤷. #BirdoftheDay
