‪A Dunnock pipping away in the dark this morning #firstbirdofmyday ‬

First bird of my day. Bouncing magpies on the roof, their long tails bobbing up and down. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

The crows arguing early seems a set start to our day, unless the robin chipping is patrolling the patch. It's so grey here I have the light on the keyboard. A dunnock checking the woodstore gutter for snacks, she was barely visible in the gloom. #FirstBirdofMyDay

Moin.

Today, I start my day slowly. 🐌
Let's see, how good it can get!

It's oddly quiet in the backyard, but I believe the #FirstBirdOfMyDay was a great titmouse greeting the sun, this morning.

How are you?

First birds of my day: a Red Kite silently swooping low over the rooftops, a round dozen Starling whistle-squeaking from St Barney's tower roof, and a pair of Magpie rattling quietly from a TV aerial nearby.

A pied currawong, calling out as it swooped low through the garden this morning. #firstbirdofmyday #whatsyours

#firstbirdofmyday outside my Norwich hotel - a pair of Collared Doves. That's more than I've seen in north Birmingham in half a decade.

No birds in the garden or on the neighbours' houses but I can three silhouetted starlings on a telephone wire at the bottom of the street. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

First bird of my day: my crow looking sleek under the grey clouds and warm breeze. #firstbirdofmyday #whatsyours

#Geese for #FirstBirdOfMyDay - adding an Autumnal soundtrack to the #Autumn colours in the Garden.

I'm late due to work. I saw the rear end of a robin darting over the fence as me and Sophie went in the garden first thing. #FirstBirdOfMyDay

#FirstBirdOfMyDay: Female northern cardinal, reflecting the gold of early morning sunshine as she flew to the top of a neighbor's tree to watch me bring out sunflower seeds. IN OTHER NEWS: Look at what Merlin heard this morning! Haven't heard/seen any yet, but am on high alert. 🧐

A screenshot of the Merlin app showing a list of North American songbirds identified. The listing for White-throated Sparrow is circled in red.

#firstbirdofmyday from Orono Maine: tufted titmouse at the feeder. Have a wonderful day Hannah. Jim👋😊

Moin.

A bit tired today. Interestingly, not because of yesterday's visit at the #DahliaGardenHamburg.
My peace got challenged that evening. I declined.

#FirstBirdOfMyDay was a titmouse chattering in the plum tree.

How are you?
