First birds of my day: a charm of ten Goldfinch swirling around above my head, while no fewer than fifteen Starling whistle-squeaked from the tower of St Barney's Church.

I'm late. Short night. For a happy reason. Crappy sleep. Don't know why. Found myself gagging this morning. So, cancelled the plans for the day. Taking in slow. But had a happy birthday.

Corvids again! This time at the top of the street at the entrance to the fields. Something had spooked them and there was a swirling mass of black and white feathers. Raven and magpie were additions to yesterdas mob.
