"Aren't they lovely?" Byleth said from behind him.
The softness in her voice was startling. It was strange to hear a word like lovely leave her lips, which so often shouted commands.
"Indeed," he said quietly. "They were a favorite of my
sister."
"I didn't know you had a sister."
"It never came up."
They paused, standing there shoulder to shoulder, the way they had three months ago. The air was thick with heat and chlorophyll. It was like standing in a memory — the scent of soil, the soft hum of magic. Like before, he imagined the way Duscur would look on that very day. He could smell their ripening garden, hear the wind gusting through the foothills. It finally felt real that he might see it soon.
It would be nothing like this.
"Duscur is a dead land," he said. "Its flowers were all
trampled under the boots of soldiers."
The control in her expression wavered — not broken,
only thinned by something unspoken. He knelt once more to brush the edge of his fingertip across a silky red petal.
"But seeing this blossom brings back memories."
In it, he saw Imane: Her downy white hair sprung free from its braid, kneeling in the abundance of their garden during the Verdant Rain Moon. The rolling foothills in the distance, blanketed in hadibeju. The peal of her laughter as it began to pour for the first time in weeks.
He stood again and turned to Byleth, knowing this,
too, would one day be a memory.

Man... I was so busy and so tired yesterday, I forgot #WIPwednesday again. Welp, some things to look forward to this weekend are good ol' Crocbug (left) and Crochawk (right)

There's a theme this weekend, and that's indulging Croc's control kinks, lol.

How sweet. And pathetic. Crocodile's grin slipped wider, to reach with his sands and plant the trembling mess of Buggy over his lap.

"You see how you can't even do something as simple as get on a couch without my help? That's your first lesson. Now for the next one."

He started his inspection slow. Palm flat on his soft rump, getting first a feel for the goosebumps and shivering. After a good moment, they both got used to the warmth of skin-on-skin. Buggy didn't squirm, for once. Whined at the minutes ticking by, likely from keeping so still for so long, but he stayed still. Waiting.

It was Crocodile who broke the peace, with a firm slap across one cheek.

When Crocodile came out clean and dressed in a green robe so silky that its wrinkles shimmered, he treated the man in his chair to a glance. It was an inspecting glance, superficial, with a touch following in its wake on an untidy beard. He hummed, finding something to fix.

"Oh, you've gotten a bit unkempt, haven't you? Should've realized… but I can take care of that now."

He didn't answer. He wasn't Mihawk the man. Hadn't been since he sat down to watch the fire burn away. He had focused his body into a stiff, static thing, something that didn't have to think about the state of his beard. Didn't have to be anything, but here.

That inspecting thumb scratched up to his fuzzed moustache. Its nail flattened the hairs toward the ideal direction. Without a word said, Crocodile fetched a shaving brush and razor from the bathroom, and got to lathering a handful of foam.

"Aishhhh," Hoseok says, but Taehyung can tell he's pleased with the compliment. "Let's get you in the tub. Put the ice down, now, and here--just let me--" He reaches his arms out, holding Taehyung close to his own body.

Their bare skin slides together for the three steps it takes to get Taehyung next to the tub and Taehyung wonders if this is how he dies. He thinks he'd die happy. Hoseok's skin is so smooth agains his own, and he smells like oak trees and citrus and a soft, rich musk. His soft cock rubs gently against Hoseok's boxer-clad thigh.

"There," Hoseok says, and Taehyung immediately gets in and sits down in the water, even though it's far too hot, because he's suddenly half hard and it's imperative that he hide that, immediately. He doesn't want to make it weird.

Well. He's already making it weird but he doesn't want to make it <i>weirder</i>.

It's #wipwednesday! I was busy this week but I did a few things. Added a brighter purple zenithal to the possessed bunker. After fixing my resin vat film, I'm trying ABS like resin and experimenting with mixing in Siraya tech Tenacious. also made some progress on a #blokees kit. #Nerdlings #wip

A possessed bunker by Doctor Spork coated Pro Acryl Dark Purple primer and then sprayed from above with royal purple then purple by Monument Hobbies. sitting on an airbrush turn table in a airbrush paint booth surrounded by various hobby supplies.

Two bottles of UV resin for 3D printing. One is Siraya Tech Tenacious - 65D Flexible resin with a masking take label that says "- 100 ML" and the other is Elegoo 8K ABS-Like Resin V3.0 with a masking take label that says "10% Tenacious"
