Two Brown, or Arctic Skua standing on top of a rock, greeting the few visitors this Island receives. We are below the Antarctic circle, few ships come this far south. Skua are notoriously nasty, often stealing food from larger birds and animals. There are also accounts from scientists who’ve been attacked by them.

Spent this last Saturday in the Tetons doing #FallFoliage portraits for my niece and her three kids and their partners. This was the entire group on a bike path near the entrance to the Teton National Park.
