e) Culture — which is the accumulated, infinitely varied, and unavoidably flawed understandings of how to behave and survive in the world, developed over time, and different in every society — steps in where mind sharing ... what we disrespectfully call instinct ... should be. So here scientists are correct in saying that planetmates have instinct and we have culture to do the same thing for humans. Only, framed the way it usually is by scientists, it is used as another way of touting our superiority instead of being explained in a way that would tell what that substitution of culture for instinct actually is: Culture is an artificial substitute for what we have lost in splitting from Divinity ... or shared mind ... and it is a sufficient-for-survival construct. Yet culture is not as refined, or as close to Truth and Reality, or perfect, even, as what other planetmates have that is called instinct. Culture, in this way, is collective Ego. For Ego can be defined as the artificial consciousness construct that each individual develops to be able to function, after one has lost one’s more expanded consciousness that one had in the womb. In this scheme, the subdued and the server classes were viewed as no more than props in the dramas the elite would concoct. They were not more important, often even less so, than the planetmates who had earlier been enslaved, similarly to be used at will by humanity. And sexuality for the underlings, like it was for planetmates, was an unpredictable variable, arising from “messy” biology and human feeling, which was inconvenient to the Controllers in the attainment of their ends. It would not at all benefit the Controllers for their underlings to be happy or satisfied. In fact, messy emotion would work against the higher-ups’ desire to have those below attend to their needs, not the person’s own. It was an element of life that would be out of their control Hence, pleasure in general, sexual pleasure in particular, was increasingly devalued, downplayed, moralized against, even demonized, and therefore suppressed, using religion as the tool, in favor of values that benefited those at the top — values which were centered upon hard work and obedience. This repression of sexuality, love relationship, and tender human feeling was added to the piles of hurt that humans carried, which needed to be suppressed so that ordinary folks could even function ... and most definitely so they could act in the productive manners beneficial to and demanded by their dominators. At any rate, the mother, being clung to, appears unaffected and seemingly absent-minded, or watching and monitoring its environ- ment and the behavior of others in the social group in its vicinity. Do not think this means planetmate mothers are detached and unfeeling toward their infants. Quite the contrary! They will show such a dedication to the care of their youngest as to put many human mothers (not all) to shame. Mother and child will stay together for life, in some species. Planetmate mothers have been known to die of grief if their infant dies. Just that the crucial and delicate time of infant vulnerability for humans has been gone beyond for our pri- mate relatives, during their time in the womb. They are “past all that.” This delicate time, this “external gestation” for humans re- quires incredibly more focus on the part of human mothers. The bonding that results from all that effort and mothering has some salutary benefits. The fact that it cannot be done perfectly? As it is done for primates during their corresponding development which occurs in the womb? Well, not so much.

In the next book in this Path of Ecstasy Series, Womb with a View, I will expand on the very important topic, introduced in this work, of womb experiences, which create our world of seemingly irrefutable beliefs, which therefore guide everything we do. Its explication begins, however, in this project in Veil Six. We are born with a tabula rasa, a mental blank slate, because we have repressed out of our consciousness (we have created an unconscious) all that we are and could be if we had not suppressed, re- pressed, and forgotten who we are. So that, d) Onto this blank slate we pour all the necessary learnings we need to survive; we do this through a process of parenting. However, unlike the mind sharing of other planetmates, we are only going to get any learnings we do as funneled through an even more narrowed consciousness, one even more split from Divinity or the mind we share in common with the Universe.
