Over 1/2 of all Americans struggled to pay for gas & groceries this summer. Instead of cutting costs and ensuring families stay fed, Congress gutted SNAP to pay for tax giveaways to the ultra-rich. A hunger crisis is unfolding while billionaires enjoy their biggest tax windfall ever

Rep. Scott Perry voted NO on extending the ACA tax credits that made health care more affordable for working people, and voted yes TWICE on H.R.1 — including the final bill that slashed Medicaid funding.

Republicans promised to lower costs. Instead, they cut healthcare to cut taxes for the rich.

Now, Pennsylvanians are paying an average $572 /month for ACA coverage. That's up 24% from 2025.

Healthcare. Gas. Groceries. It feels like there’s no escape.

The price of everything on your plate really IS skyrocketing. Leaders should be fighting to lower food prices and expand programs that help families get by.

Instead, Republicans in Congress cut SNAP, taking food assistance away from millions and raising grocery costs even more.

To fix the cost of living crisis, we have to lower prices AND make sure Americans have more cash in their pockets.

A monthly, expanded #ChildTaxCredit would help working families afford sky-high prices for gas, groceries, and more.

Republicans like Congressman Tom Barrett in Michigan promised to lower costs. Then they turned around and voted to take away health care and food assistance. Now patients are paying even more for health care, gas, and other basic necessities. #ThePriceIsHigh

Rep. Rob Bresnahan voted to slash $1 trillion from Medicaid & kill ACA tax credits that lowered healthcare costs for working families. As the cost of health care and everyday essentials skyrockets, many folks like Brenda, who lives in his district, are stressed about staying afloat.

Maine households are paying $4,300 more than they were before Trump returned to office.

What’s driving the increase?

War. Tariffs. A rigged tax code. Corporate consolidation. Washington’s priorities.

The Squeeze is real. And it’s costing Maine families thousands.

Rep. Bresnahan said he wouldn't vote for legislation that “guts the benefits my neighbors rely on.”

But then, he voted YES on HR1, which gutted essential, lifesaving programs like SNAP and Medicaid in order to pay for tax giveaways for big corporations and billionaires.

Between premiums, co-pays, and deductibles, healthcare costs too much and insurance is too hard to navigate.

Instead of fixing it, Trump and Republicans cut taxes for rich insurance CEOs and made coverage even MORE expensive for everyone.

Families are feeling the squeeze in grocery aisles, rent, child care, medical costs, the cost of getting around, energy bills, and more.

Today, more than 4 in 10 U.S. families can’t cover the basics. For Black and Latino families, it’s 6 in 10.

Families are feeling the squeeze, thousands dropped Pennie coverage, Medicaid cuts threaten lives & local hospitals.

Rep. Fitzpatrick helped the original HR1 pass by a single vote before later voting against the final bill. A final NO doesn't erase the first YES or lower our bills.
