Good morning! How are you feeling? Busy day yesterday with many trains but I made it to the National Maritime Museum for an evening with the astrophotographers and their amazing photos. A joy to meet the overall winner and see his spectacular image. All of them really incredible pics. #StayBright

Good mornternoon! Has a nice run along the canal yesterday and then bought an interesting spoon in a charity shop. Some research showed it belonged to a WWII soldier, and I felt bad I’d left the non-matching knife with same service number behind. Have reunited them this morning. :) #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Had a walk along the beach in Southport yesterday and shard some chips from the chippy along the way. Feels like the sort of thing to do in English seaside towns. Didn’t reach the sea though - was miles away! #StayBright

Good morn-ternoon! How are you feeling? Good fun at the wedding last night - including an impromptu rave with glow sticks. Not quite what I was expecting with the bride being a vicar! Excellent band that played super cool medleys too. Off to walk on beach soon. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Made it to Southport for the wedding this afternoon. Thankfully the horizontal rain has now stopped and I am filled with scrambled eggs and toast. 😊 Looking forward to getting dressed up! #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Somehow it’s already run day again. Where do non-run days go? Okay, so yesterday involved getting lining paper up on half of the room. Genuinely exciting. Can’t finish it alone though, so will have to wait until after weekend trip. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? I’ve just made use of the wonderful Forest Recycling Project to buy some good quality paint and save it from landfill. Cheaper for me, better for the environment - everyone’s a winner. Does mean I no longer have an excuse not to do the ceiling. :/ #StayBright

Old warehouse/factory style buildings whose fronts have all been painted in different patterns, with bunting stretching across the road. They are now microbreweries and a gin palace. Sky looking deliciously blue and there is a shadow from the pointy roofs of buildings on other side of road, complementing the points on the roofs on this side.

Good morning! How are you feeling? Very long day of non-stop caulking, painting and masking - but I’m very impressed with the progress and the quality of the sprayed finish. Woohoo! Today I have to face the horrid task of painting a ceiling. Yuck. And running. Double yuck! #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? I have caulked so much my finger is sensitive today. Owch! Friend has come over with paint sprayer so might have a go at getting woodwork paint completed today - ooh! Lots of work yesterday followed by pizza and a beer. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? I feel like I broke my own rules with my message yesterday. I’m meant to send a positive message with some small beauty I’ve spotted in the world, but the varnish goo got the better of me. To explain, this progress has taken a week - but - progress. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? The battle against the varnish from hell continues. Today has to be the day I win, surely? I’ve scraped off so much and there’s loads still to go. It’s like treacle! Just need to be patient and persistent I guess. #StayBright

Good morning! How are you feeling? Yesterday was a combination of dust, more dust, some gloopy melted varnish, scraping, filling, sanding and yet more dust. Then a run and shower to make me feel human again. Went to see The Dog Stars as it’s Nat. Cinema Weekend - cheap films! #StayBright
