Dark as a wolf’s mouth and weird as fuck. Vegetables, prune, licorice; then on the palate chocolate, coffee and more licorice. Blood, after it’s aired....

...Godello from 80-year-old vineyards in Zamora, with 7 months in lees and 5 years in bottle. No oak whatsoever. You should drink it at ~12C, almost like a red.

Golden. Mead, honey, spices, cider, almonds, orange peel, toasted caramel, crème brûlée, fennel, and something almost like dried apricot. A surprising acidity at the end. Oozes....
