Keep yelling at reps. Demand they reject these bills
@onyxnuvaplus.bsky.social#savespeech #NoToDigitalID #NOTOOSLEVELVERIFICATION
Linux isn't exempt. In theory, you won't be able to use any app or even your machine if forced to "give over your birthdate" so age signals can be sent to complying apps
Yell at reps. Tell them to repeal HB 5511
@onyxnuvaplus.bsky.social#savespeech #NoToDigitalID #NOTOOSLEVELVERIFICATION
IL HB 5511 is now officially law. It goes into effect Jan 1st 2027/2028
This message will repeat until the bill is sued & blocked

@pumpkeen-spice.bsky.socialIf this bill passes, it could very well be THE kill switch for the entire open internet!
@pumpkeen-spice.bsky.socialwww.youtube.com/shorts/1C0X1... KreekCraft is doing us a favor and letting us know about certain laws that the US is trying to pass..
@blakestacey.myatproto.socialI mean, imagine every way that Meta products are bad for the world, and add the government of Florida controlling what they can put in front of your face

Apparently the debate on "protecting kids online" occured in Parliament in the EU. No transcript yet. Sounds like its a tyg of war on either side.
If someone can cliffnotes this, please lend a hand
@onyxnuvaplus.bsky.social#savespeech #notodigitalID #stopcensorship #notopornban
Once again, the UK is censoring free speech by banning porn.
Dont care if you think its pointless. Demand your reps pass free speech bills & remove all parts in the OSA banning legal art
@weirdalien.bsky.socialAnd despite this, governments still want to push these social media bans and mandatory age verification in the name of "protecting children" 😐

Supposedly Parliament will have a 16h debate on "protecting kids online" tomorrow.
Already off to a bad start.
In any case, demand your reps VOTE NO ON EU KIDS ACT & CC 2.0
