Not marble, nor the gilded monuments
Of princes, shall outlive this powerful rhyme;
It dares love to outlast every monument.
What would you want words to outlive?

During the long middle:

conjugating a rivet
mastering tango
training the cat to stay off the table preserving a single moment longer than this one
continuing to wake whatever has happened the day before

and the penmanships love practices inside the body.

She-Wolf
written by: Emma Wells

Feral fur spikes,
standing defensively;
hackles up, spiked as war;
my breathing pace is fast:
a heartbeat felt in clawed paw
whilst my nocturnal eyes
canine-sharp,
pinpoint beating life; #Fiction #Spillwords #WritingCommunity #Literature #Poetry

past midnight poetry
for lovers from
Untamed Canvas Studio

Impossible
…yet the heart understood

Untamed
…freer to love one another by

Unwarranted
…to those unwilling to risk

…still our souls met across oceans and
our untamed fires burned with the light of
a thousand suns

NEW Digital Desires poetry collection #poetry #sciencefiction

Sorry! I’ve got a new poetry collection out: www.amazon.co.uk/Digi.../dp/B....
It’s useful for as a drinks' coaster, useful as a door-stop, and useful for swatting people with. Be a patron of the arts, before they die out completely.

Monotonous
written by: Ken Tomaro

I am a small gray square on the tiled wall of the men’s bathroom. Sandwiched between several other small gray squares. I am not chipped or faded, worn or brittle, only gray like all the other tiles. #Fiction #Spillwords #Poetry #WritingCommunity #Literature

The bleak twigs overhead
In a full-hearted evensong
Of joy illimited"
