I ponder the contrast between my naïveté
And my cynicism—it’s like a mystery play
There’s some things I just embrace
Others I can’t keep a straight face
Please watch out! Following me might lead you astray

Totally #naivete
Every wave surprises
Unexpected moves

"The cilent says they're going inside to get their wallet," I said.
"Wud luv ta ave ya #naivete. Dey're probs runnin outta da back door rite now!" Riz said.
"Cause that's what you would do?"
"Listen people 're pricks!"
"They're coming back."
"Ya got lucky!"

This whimsical heart
Side steps away from sarcasm
Turns away from narcissism
And absolutely abhors abuse of any kind
Some say this heart beats in #naivete
Doesn't know how to survive
I say I had merely drawn a line

his naïveté is refreshing
said the con artist
what do you mean?
asked his shill
it means, my friend, that
he doesn't have the sense he was born with
watch me sell him the latest crypto

Is it confidence
or naivete
that allows us
to create?

Something disappears
and I'm left with
writer's block.

#Naivete reigns
Believing every lie told
Trusting devil's smile

The sun sank again
when I wanted it to float
Down beneath the perigee
The dawn will come again
Perhaps in my naivete
my heart is still replete
I still stand on the shore
at the apogee of hope
at the pinnacle of buoyancy

Her blunt words,
How they hurt.
Is it malice or naivete?
I honestly can’t say.
Has she never cared, or never learned?
That’s my concern:
Is it possible she still doesn’t realise?
At her age you would think otherwise.

In her new dress, Mary Janes and a gap-toothed grin, she giggles over chocolate bunnies and jelly beans.
When the egg hunt ends, she slips back to the pond, dark as a tomb. Washes off her #naivete but keeps the joy. Then the wizened crone curls into a hollow tree to sleep until next Easter. #vss365

was it vice?
or plain naivete?
that I went searching
everywhere
for awakening

while the sparrow
in my garden
day after day
simply sang
its heart out

In the black of night,
thy white wrist sleeps—
a moon beneath the veil.
Its fortune wakes;
the stars bear witness.
grief found me—
wept, knowing my name.
those who fault my love—
blame them not;
they’re steeped in #naivete.
Some wounds
keep their own light.

She carried herself with a whimsical #naivete that others mistook for weakness. While they were underestimating her guile she was plotting their downfall. It came to them as quite a surprise when the village airhead ended up with the crown on her head and their heads found rest in the grave. #vss365

such naivete
I sit down and wait
next to the devil

For someone her age she has an #exceptional amount of #naivete. She says her husband took care of everything and now that he’s gone she doesn’t know what to do. We need to help her.
Yes, we do. Let’s start with her bills.
Agreed. That’s a good place to start.

Whenever i call the sun
it arrives when it feels right

I point like i was taught
without looking into the heart

of the sky blinding unforgiving now
instead there, there tomorrow is softer

the past a trail drawn lines
of disipating clouds leading

up and back to the burning earth

The real life
interferes
with your
idealized world.

#naivete
shattered
all in an instant
comfort stripped away
