By the way Virginia Gregg did a lot better job replacing Frances Robinson here than Frances Robinson did replacing Virginia Gregg on #RichardDiamond. TBF Virginia Gregg is one of the top female radio actresses in history and Frances Robinson is more a movie actress.

I like the traffic after The Rose Bowl emptied [Attendance was 100,963].
I liked the Pasadena Rose Parade playing into the plot.
VG is mostly indistinguishable from Robinson.

A Christmas mystery in a department story. This is quite the sub-genre in OTR isn't it!!
I do need to re-listen but I liked how the real Santa Claus was seeded in the narrative.
VG's Claire sounds very young.
