Jura 15 Sherry Cask Finish nose: I expected this to be similar to the 12 Sherry cask Finish, but it's not at all. If anything the nose reminds me of Chinese crispy duck pancakes. There's an oily meatiness, hoisin sauce, spring onion vibe as well as salted caramel ice cream & dark honey. #JuraWhisky

Water reveals more smoke and spice with coal smoke, ginger, star anise, cloves, cardamom, white pepper, Tizer, Ribena, loganberry squash, squodgy strawberry sweets, strawberry syrup over a Mr Whippy ice cream, chocolate cake, roast pork and gravy #JuraWhisky

Appearance: Oak aged Chardonnay in colour, forms a thin line which beads before slowly falling as thick, oily legs

Nose: Stone fruit, toasted almonds, lemon citrus, coastal air and a hint of dunnage warehouse floors

Jura 12 Sherry Cask on the palate: super sweet, cherries, plums, damsons, muscovado sugar and tarte tatin. Reminds me of a brown sugar bubble tea I had in Japan a few years back. Lovely oily mouthfeel and medium finish. This is my favourite of the night so far. #JuraWhisky
